Had to take old TV to landfill. It was an ordeal cause it was so heavy and bulky and getting it down the stairs was very scary. Michael was a little freaked about it. I still remember the day this TV was delivered and Michael and Elizabeth were very small - maybe 3 and 1 1/2 respectably and how great it was at the time for such a big TV screen to watch their favorite shows like rugrats and Blues Clues. As you can see there are a bunch of other TV's some even bigger than this one and I wonder if they too were once the highlight of families bunched around that fantastic image they projected and now too big and obsolete and alone. Will I too find myself cast out because I am obsolete and not able to fit in the future flat screened society? I think not, I do pride myself on trying to keep up with things and stay active and relevant.

TV and things
Just finished the second book by Gillian Flynn
It was really a bizarre one but a quick enjoyable read. She writes
about crazy women and that seems to resonate with me with 3 of them
in our family.
This week Liz came home for spring break and it was nice to have here here especially
with Sarah recouping from wisdom teeth surgery. It has been sorta stressful dealing
with it and trying to make sure she is comfortable and she is in pain and acting out on
it.

Replaced old TV for bonus room. Remember the day this was delivered and Mikey was about 3 and Lizzie about 1 just before Sarah born. It was such a great thing at the time with the large screen! Rugrats and all the other shows we watched.
Bought 42 inch flatscreen and mounted on wall.
Also had to take out old stereo because it is not compatible with new TV! Everything is digital now. I want to at least figure out how to connect old speakers but now I need a new receiver. Oh well, nothing is easy in this electronic world.
